I'm moving out..

Today I got the keys to my new apartment in Kew Gardens. It was really exciting. I hit up an apartment sale a few blocks away that I found on CL and found a bunch of cool stuff. So today was spent planning out the look and design.

I called a cleaning lady to come in tomorrow to polish the wood floors and clean the bathroom & kitchen spotless. Because they installed a new fridge today, things were a bit messy.
I'm super excited about it.. even more excited about my recent promotion at work, that I got for myself. Anyways...It really is the perfect apartment.
Let me show you:

Kew Gardens Cinema is a super cute theatre playing mostly Indie films.

**I also found Linda's Organic Market that is amazing. It smelled like the ashram.

Cause I'd die... Without you

Last night I was lucky enough to see Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal in Rent. They of course are the original cast members who play Mark and Roger. Anyone who is a fan of the play or the movie can tell you what a treat this was.

Anthony definitely showed what a passion he has for his role as Mark. After reading his memoirs, I can honestly say that there might not be another actor who has gotten into their role as much as he has. His voice was perfectly raspy and his acting was flawless.

Adam Pascal's voice comes out of Roger with such ease. Filling the theatre with pure magic, he was able to hit any note and even sound amazing through his tears. His role as Roger requires him to act laid back and subdued. Of course, this is his role too. Jonathan Larson, wrote these parts for these guys. There is no other actor that CAN ever be better at it.

I took Dana and her two friends, and of course Liz. And we all had a pretty awesome time. (Except for the racist train ride home).
